Having just posted Skye Scribble and had some happy comments.  Has set me a thinking.   I did it as I stated both quickly , cursing my watercolour crayons and with a wet bum..... You get the picture? But I captured the moment that I wanted to capture. Quick, scribbly, rough and ready.  But now I want to work it up into a proper painting, oil or acrylic.  But how do I retain that quality I got in the original.  How do you do it ? Or is it not important to you to get the mood and the feel ? I see paintings in the gallery, and other places.  Some really excite and get the juices flowing.  Some though competent and clever, just leave me cold . Thoughts? Ideas?
