I have been thinking of entering the John Moores 2014 painting prize as its local to me, I never really bother entering competitions due to work constraints and being too busy but thought I might give this a try, until I went online and saw last years exhibited paintings, and I am having second thoughts. £30 is too much to part with if the judges are not going to take things seriously :'(
