That sea view in Greece I did last week, well i was painting again, en plein, when a chap came and asked if he might look. I said yes, of coursr, and showed him my work. He saw the sea view and raved about it (no discernment some folks), he then fetched his wife who did the same. They eventually left and walked off when I thought what the heck, tore it out of my book and chased after them.
They were delighted to receive my gift to them. I appreciate the delight might last only till the next tidy up, but what the heck .The moment was made better.
