The following link will take you to an article on my regular blog explaining how I had fridge magnets produced for an exhibition. They will sell to visitors who might think an original or even a limited edition print was too expensive. Doesn't appeal to me but everyone has their own preference when it comes to reproductions of artworks. I stick to cards produced in sellophane wrappers by my printers and they serve very well with a sticker on the wrapper with my details etc. Each to their own.

I'm not so sure about fridge magnets, but Fine Art America now produce mugs, shower curtains, beach towels, tote bags as well as prints on paper, board, canvas etc.t even have to pro them in quantity.

Nothing against the idea of fridge magnets if they sell but I do wonder about the people who buy them - I have to ask myself why does anyone want a load of magnets stuck all over their fridge? Individually they may be of merit but collectively, all haphazardly displayed and cluttering up the front of the fridge, they look tatty to me.

My fridge is covered with notices held in place with magnets, mainly reminders to myself. I love to find magnets with artistic merit...so here's one customer! They also make very acceptable presents for friends at Xmas and on birthdays and non-birthdays, also as little Thank You's for help received...(but you have to get old and fairly decrepit for that! ) I heartily endorse them.

Oh dear - think I'm alone here - read the arguments but still hate the things - very much a minimalist - can't stand clutter - I even catch crumbs before they hit the deck - suffering from EVOCD I guess (er that's Extra Very).
