hi folks this is my first post although i've been taking leisure painter for some years now. if i've posted in the wrong place just let me know please.
i love drawing and painting but just can't get into it at home. at classes and courses no problem and if 'homework' given i do that with relish. i have all the time i could want and a lovely big space to work in without needing to tidy up. but just can't get down to it. there is no shortage of subject matter - beautiful landscape on my doorstep, plenty to make up still life from, my garden and so on.
my weekly fix at a course in a local college has dried up due to a change of policy regarding recreational courses and i'm getting twitchy. i know, stop twitching and pick up a pencil. unfortunately it doesn't work like that for me. i'm sure i'm not alone in this and would be very grateful for any tips for breaking through.
