I went out today to collect a few things, including an easel which I got at a knock down price, and on the way I popped in to see a member of this forum for another reason. Whilst there he gave me a most generous gift of two good prestretched canvases with the words "well, I'll never use them". I wont name him to spare the blushes but I do need to say a huge thank you. The generosity of members is always a humbling event, and one of the reasons this forum is so darned good!
I'm sorry I couldn't stop for the proffered tea, it would have been good. As it was I spent four hours in the car because of traffic just about everywhere! I shall pop over another time.
