how to achieve this type of paint finish on styrene

I'm trying to paint a sweet on styrene but using spray paints if possible. To me the finish looks like a pastel/chalky effect but there seem to be very few types of acrylic or similar sprays that are suitable for use on styrene and also that have finishes such as pastel. The type of sweet i'm trying to create is pretty much an identical colour to that below but has a blue-ish tone to it. I'm new to painting and am making sculptures mostly using styrene so the paits used need to be suitable for use as some can destroy styrene unless a primer is used.
