With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

I've not seen anything like that before - language may well be Serbian, or possibly Romanian: certainly of that region - but they look to be numbered, so are presumably prints of some kind. I haven't more than a hint of a clue beyond that, I fear.

What medium are they in? Looks a bit like lace or could be engraved metal or could be white pen on black paper.

I wonder if sometimes "new members" are testing our "expertise" Syd, which is pointless as we are always at pains to point out that we don't claim to be experts. However these pieces do fascinate me and it would be nice to receive a little more information.
