Been lurking for awhile now but finally registered :)
Had ink stained hands, pockets full of pieces of paper, and pencil shavings in my bag since a little boy but just recently started doing creative *things* in earnest.
We moved from central Scotland to the Highlands, in Sept, for the pace of life, the people and to let us do things we wanted to do here before we got too old haha. And have to say the light is just fantastic ( although at the moment i actually only see Sol *in the flesh* for 34 minutes ...above the hill...and back down again 34 mins later !)
Picked up some great tips here so far and its bringing back advice from my Grandpa, who was (in my eyes) a great watercolour artist. I have the enviable location, space ( got a barn sized space all to myself!) and a wonderful understanding wife who lets me do "my arty thing" (and encourages it lol)
Anyway didnt mean to start a diatribe, just wanted to say hi and hope you all have a good and healthy New Year.
