I am having a petulant foot stamp. What again I hear!
Is it just me and a couple of other women who are offended by some of the pneumatic nudes posted on the gallery ? I honestly do find them offensive. This is a public site and people of all ages and sexes can look at it.
Please tell me I am not just being prudish. Yes I know I don't have to look at them let alone comment about them but as I mentioned above anyone can log in and scan this site . page 6 or there about's .

Mr Stephenson has offered an answer on his post - which is an advance on the calculated offensiveness with which he addressed one of our members - and you might want to take issue with that if you haven't already. I don't think you're being prudish, this isn't about indecency but the objectification of women; so you're offering a feminist perspective on this work, and one that seems valid to me.
These are deep waters though - Mr S has his admirers, of whom I'm not one, and could point out that he was beaten to this particular post by Lucian Freud: I don't think he'd have much of a case, but I can see how it could be made. I also doubt that even the most sensitive of souls, of whatever age, has not seen far more degrading pictures, if these are degrading, on the internet or in the pages of the Sun "newspaper". Maybe keep expressing your opinion on this work and debate directly with him, as you've recently done - it's worth a try and you might get through to him.

Good thoughts Robert. Yes the Lucian Freud paintings e.g. the Tax collector could be cited. The difference being that she is a real woman being depicted as she actually is/was. I heard her being interviewed not very long ago. Also his anatomy etc was correct. I might just ring poor old Dawn after the holiday. You also mention newspaper s page 3 etc though I did think that had been discontinued not that I shall buy it to check.
The only thing re ' keeping on, keeping on " is, I think that he actually enjoys the wind up, one reason I have tried to ignore them. but this one tipped me over,
