Me and my father are trying to retrace the brush strokes of British painter John Doman Turner. He was a member of the Camden Town Group back in the early 1900's. There is not much information or credit given to this artist or his wonderful works. We want to uncover his full story and hoping this forum will help on our search.
You can read a blog post about our mission at - http://www.johndomanturner.com/2016/02/14/father-and-son-start-journey-to-discover-the-untold-story-of-john-doman-turner/
We recently discovered the beautiful 'Walberswick Scroll' that Doman Turner, you can read our story about the unveiling of it at - http://www.johndomanturner.com/2016/02/28/visiting-john-doman-turners-scrolls-at-walberswick-and-southwold/
And here's a video of John Doman Turner's 'Trinity Scroll' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeKNBWoa9xg
I would be interested to hear your comments about JDT's work. Have any of you come across this artist before? Do you know much about the Camden Town Group? It would be great to hear your stories.
Here's some photos of his works
