I’ve done that as well Syd....oooops it sort of happens .
Go to HOME .
It now displays a left hand column of options . Scroll down to FOLLOW. Click on it and it will show a list of all the people you are following. . There should be a little bar to the left of each name that should be possible to switch from on to off . Hope this works

Thanks Sylvia ...I tried that one but the, button shows off but it aint. the artist I have been put down asvfollowig is Lewis. I commented on one of his paintings and it immediately said i was now a follower.which i think is not ok ....the emails for his new pictures are too much as he is painting all the time.and i dont have the time to be a follower. I like his stuff but i am not a follower .....Syd

I'm still receiving notices for the artists I follow. However, is there any way of finding out who is following you in the Gallery? Seems to work differently from the Forum where you can. I got quite a shock when checking something to see that there is now 1 person following me, just curious as to who it is. Doesn't matter if I can't find out though.

This is all very curious...I've only just had a look at this thread. I thought you only became a follower when you clicked the 'follow' button. (This appears when you open an artists picture-on the right side just above 'view profile'.) If you want to 'unfollow', you click on 'my account' at the top of the page - near the phone number. This shows 'OPTIONS' on the right, one of them is 'ARTISTS I'M FOLLOWING', click on that and it lists the followed artists and gives the option to 'UNFOLLOW.' It appears that Syd has done none of these things, but has got stuck with being my follower (thanks for the thought Syd, even if it was unintentional). So, if you do the above, Syd, you can get rid of me.
The odd thing is that when I click on my account it tells me that I have ZERO followers, and always has done so...so I don't understand how Syd has been stuck with me. Must be a real pain, because I do post a lot. I think I'll cut down anyway, a couple of posts a week is enough.

Time for a new device perhaps Syd? Birthday coming up? Christmas a bit of a long way off unfortunately. The way that Lew and I both described should work for you as I know it works for me. The other thing I am wondering is whether there is something in your settings (either on the iPad or in this site) that is causing the problem? (I've recently had a similarly weird tech problem reserving items at my local library, no-one was able to track it down but it seems to have gone now hopefully). Perhaps Dawn could help if it's something to do with the site, or worth getting your son-in-law to check out the iPad? Just a thought, I know how annoying it can be if things don't work the way you expect them to.

Your son-in-law very likely right that it will disappear after a time, the problem I was having with library reserves did. No you certainly haven't lost a follower, Clearing Up was posted the day before I left to go on holiday, was out most of that day but do remember your painting. I could have sworn I'd "liked" and commented but in the flurry of packing up I seem to have missed that. I've commented now. Kind regards, Sandra
