Is it just me but why are the paintings and artists featured monthly in the Editor's Gallery Choice section in The Artist and Leisure Painter always seem to be ones I have never come across or have ever seen their paintings??
They never seem to feature anyone I have heard of or any paintings that I remember seeing on the gallery. I can think of any number of artists who are regular contributors to the gallery and who's work is very much appreciated and would be good subjects to feature - but they never appear??
I am not saying that the paintings in the Editor's Choice aren't good, but just that they always are a mystery to me. The Editor can't be going off how popular these paintings are as I have only counted about 4 or 5 comments on each of this month's choice.
Anyone have a different view on this?
