Dear sir, the Persian Sun is the symbol and identity of the people of Persia. It is unique because it is embroidered and handmade with such a pattern, making it look like the most beautiful painting you'll ever see. The attention to detail is extraordinary, representing a solid Persian background. I've dug this text out of the Moderation page, while removing the live link to another site, because it does answer a question that was asked some days ago.  I don't know if Mr Watkins has been banned as a member - he can appeal to the site owners if he was, and feels he shouldn't have been.   I do recognize the image, as many of us will, of the Persian Sun: the original question, from a Mr Holmes, asked about "the Persian Sun product" - I still don't know what he meant by that, though know that there are paintings in galleries offering invidual examples of it.  I don't know about anyone else, but I don't have any particular opinion to offer about any of these paintings; I might quarrel with "most beautiful you'll ever see", though beauty, like a lot of other things, is in the eye of the beholder.   RJ
