Something odd on the forum this evening. A picture was posted (I swear, it really was...) by one Anne Lynch. It claimed to be an oil painting of a house in Callendar, Scotland. It was plainly not a painting at all, but a photograph. I pointed this out, asking what had happened (I assume the photo on which the painting was based was posted, rather than the painting itself), came back to the Gallery page - and it had gone.
Now, I do like a gin and tonic or two before dinner. And I've had my G & T, or - indeed - two. So it occurred to me that instead of pink elephants, I had seen a phantom posting; ie, it wasn't there at all. But - if that's the case, I have much more of a problem with the demon drink than I thought I had.... so ..... anyone else see it?
It WAS there, wasn't it? Someone reassure me........
