I`ve been doing craft fairs with cards etc - and while sitting there I work on a piece (drawing or painted sketch).
The reaction of people is fascinating. They tend to shyly move into a good spot and look unbelieving. Or they ask if I did that. (lol)
I think people are so used to seeing finished work they don`t see much actual creativity. I spend a lot of time trying to explain that this is a learned skill - and that art is something everyone can do, given time and effort. But most remain unconvinced.
Maybe we`re all hiding our lights under bushels and we need to get out there more?
