Whilst putting together an online order on the Jacksons website, I notice that some products (in this case W&N acrylic paint) now have a note in the info pages; "due to trading agreements we are unable to ship this product outside of the EU". (Perhaps it's always been there and I've just never given it a thought before). Apart from the now ubiquitous ship when I much prefer to have things delivered or supplied to me, I'm wondering what the position is now. W&N was—or used to be—a British company I believe, and I believe Jacksons are British too. However we are now ex-EU although trading deals etc. are yet to be finalised. Has anyone any experience of this?
W & N ceased to be a British company a long time ago - they're now swallowed up in the Colart monolith.  I don't know what trading agreements Jacksons are referring to, but presume it'll have something to do with other companies, also owned by Colart, operating outside of the EU: they won't compete with themselves and their subsidiaries.
