How important is it to develop your own style? And how many artists have truly done this ; for example how many works are instantly recognisable? Do people 'in the know' look to collect these works, even in this day and age of limited funds? It's an extension of the query "To specialise or diversify?" Does the professional artist who aims to live by his art by capitalising on a style which he has developed as individual to himself have more success than the artist who has a multiplicity of styles? In which case could recognisable art works be considered "Stylised?"
