Thank you Sandra for liking my stuff.  Jenny I really dislike half pans,I am not a tidy painter so I think I will await Alan’s recommendation s coming onto the market. Robert thank you for your reply I am sure it is full of useful info.  But I really find it difficult to read  even with enlarged text…it would take me about an hour to read, and Sam needs a pee.🐾🐾🐾🐾 Truly no offence intended.
Sylvia - long reply was for Sandra Kennedy; the short ones for you referred to the inability to get Daniel Smith watercolours in full pans. Was there any reason for your wanting to use theirs, as opposed to Winsor & Newton's?  Especially given your eye issues, would sticking with what you know and are used to not be a better plan?   T'is what I'd suggest, anyway - and they still do full pans, I believe.  I understand that you might have trouble squeezing tube paint into pans - otherwise, that would be a good idea.
You want to see me squeezing tooth paste ,or possibly not. I think it’s the Daniel Smith reputation that  intrigues me.   But am going to wait for the Winsor and Newton to appear.
Robert, thank-you very much for your comprehensive reply. Really helpful. I mightn't replace my cadmium red as I don't really want such a powerful red, but will keep the yellows. You are very generous with your knowledge and time.
