Congratulations to the winners in th Van Gogh Competion, especially Fiona and Alan who contribute regularly to the Forum. As usual, there were some very good entries and the POL team moved like lightning in selecting the winners! Justin's was a worthy winner I felt, it somehow reminded me of " Cafe atArles", a night scene with lights, yet totally his own composition. It was a modern scene yet with a nod to Vincent. Well done everyone.

Congratulations too all the winners. My pick of the bunch was Alans painting of Vincent with other artist sitting at a table. When Fiona uploaded her lemon still life, I commented the she was not allowed to enter an original work by van Gogh,LOL.

Yes, congratulations to the winners...very fine work. I thought all the entries were of a high standard. My personal choice for the winner didn't make it, but I have no argument with the winning paintings. They were excellent...as has been said...a tough job for the judges.
