As you may remember I posted re this topic some time ago. We started as a group of 8 artists collaborating on a themed sketch book. Amanda Bates did it all first time around and I played copy cat. Anyhow more people wanted to join in so we started a Rogue Sketch book for anyone else who wanted to play . The theme for this book a Sea White A5 sketch book was Film, Book. Music or Poem. I then got the idea to raffle it at an Art and Craft sale. I needed people to help fill it and the plea went out. Eventually I had artists from lots of different places offering their work. Including both Amanda and Winchelsea, ( Christine Davis ) from here and Norah Blount also our own Phil who also posts here . So HUGE thanks to all of them. Yesterday was the big day, so despite snow and ice and generally horrible weather it all went ahead. Our wonderful book raised £107 , I am just so delighted . This amount from the book will be donated to Save the Children and especially Syrian Refugee Children.. Big hugs to all concerned.
