I posted a thread similar to this some years ago but think it worth while repeating the exercise. I have been taking the Artist for some time now, and the same subjects crop up with alarming regularity. Number one on my list of done to death subjects would be views of Venice. Very few paintings in any medium add anything new to our perceptions of this city and I am willing to bet quite a few are painted from photos by people who have never even been there!
Second would be street scenes with people walking toward or away from us with those funny legs that end in points.
