I should add that its only the shape with no shading to show form to make things easier , as I have shown...Syd

Hi syd. Is this challenge draw not paint a british white duck from memory?
That's great Lesley - love the duck's bottom!
This is my ink drawing for Syd's new challenge. I started immediately in ink, as I prefer to do. I hope you are pleased with it, Syd. Thanks for the new challenge. All comments are very, very welcome. :) Mia http://www.painters-online.co.uk/artist/MiaKetels
Now I'm seeing this, will have a go later!
Sorry, No spare time - I've got 4 portraits on the go. I did once paint a duck though - On a trip to china, I couldn't find one as they were all caged up due to bird flu. On my last day I saw a scraggy mandarin duck in Shanghai in a formal garden. By the way I love the "DA". That's how I usually see them! Linda Wilson
Here's mine - well I had to give it a go. Go on splosh - it only takes 10 minutes.

Mia - love it. Lesley - all are great and Michael, so cute.
Syd - try googling Indian Runner ducks.
Haven't done one of these before! Hope it's ok to just join in? All your ducks are lovely, and friendly looking - Micheal I esp love yours, character from just a few lines. Mine has not turned out friendly I am afraid, but I have added a bonus joke to make up for it....
This is my offering for you Syd, not marvellous but I tried!
Lesley, Mia, Michael and Lucy your efforts are wonderful!
