For reasons I won't go into I have just changed my car insurance company. I put my profession as artist, and phoned them about using it for business. It seems that if I use the car for commuting to where I teach, that counts as business class 1 which is ok, but if I want to transport paintings to an exhibition , it counts as class 2 business and I will have to pay a higher premium. So if I do have an accident whilst carrying paintings I will now have to first of all dump them by the wayside.....and lie. (If there is anyone reading this from my insurance company, I would never dream of doing this, by the way...)
