Hi all
Just thought I'd share the news that my Mum has chosen 13 of my paintings to compile into a calendar for next year - one of my worst critics has found 13 she is prepared to look at for a month at a time! I'm joking but she is quite harsh on my work 8-)
Anway I have 3 orders (well one really - my mate is having one, one for my Mum and one for my fella's parents who live in Canada as a gift) But it will be nice to think they are out there!

It's a great idea but .... someone is going to have to be prepared to put up money with no guarantee of return. It would be wonderful to think that this could be established, providing an alternative to the existing art schools (and more particularly, an alternative to their methods).

Apologies if this is posted twice, I lost the first reply.
I already know of three Atelier style schools in the UK there is Sarum Studios, Lavendar Hill studios and LARA. I cannot say to what degree the schools are following the Atelier methods or to what level the methods are being put into practice but it gives you a starting point if you wish to research them.
I am very interested in finding out a bit more about your ideasl and would like to be involved if possible. B-)
