Just been down memory lane at Winchester waste tip. Doing the usual hide the evidence, 12 cases of empty assorted wine, Marmite, gin bottles, also a couple of lumps of concrete and an old travel bag, somebody will salvage that and get lots of use from it. On picking the bag up there was something stiff in the zipped end pocket and there was a 15yr old sketch book of mine as I date most things I sketch, much of it unused but recording trips to New Zealand, ski trips, USA, local scenes, pubs, lists and notes while taking commissions. Sketches galore and happy memories. Also 2 Edding Profipens and a Unibell Eye pen and they all work.
Well found, Derek. [As an aside to your topic, I observe that your location somewhere-in-the-vicinity-of-Winchester does indeed put you well within reach of Watership Down... Not, of course, as close as I. You mentioned a pub in your comment on my post; I was wondering which establishment you were referring to?]
