this book is not just another book on Acrylic techniques far from it being a complete knowledge on the subject of acrylics. It goes into depth on using acrylics and getting the best from the medium. The demonstrations are really good. This paperback version with 320 pages is beautifully designed. If acrylics is your medium this is a book that will open doors.

Oh Lawks, another book to buy!  Do you think it would be as useful for a seasoned painter in acrylics as it would be to one less experienced?  If so, I shall fumble for the wallet.

I’ve often thought acrylics ought to be a medium for me, but have struggled with them.  Through ignorance mostly I suspect…time to have another bash.  This has rave reviews on Amazon and from the preview sample seems packed with examples.  I’ll get it.  Thanks for the recommendation.

Our local authority art tutor (when we had local authority art classes) recommended this book, I have the hardback version. I did use it for a while, but have since moved to oils. I do think for an experienced Napa it maybe superfluous to requirements, Robert. But an excellent choice for those not used to acrylics.
