On Friday this last week I went to Chester Zoo with a host of friends and Mary Anne Bartlett as our tutor for a day drawing animals . Lovely day , weather reasonable, friends delightful, till I suddenly realised my back pack had gone. I am of a fairly "Dizzy" nature so retraced my steps expecting it to be in the monkey house or by the penguin pond. But no it has been well and truly "nicked" I was so absorbed in what I was drawing that some not nice person ( that can be translated into much stronger language). My precious new birthday camera, my phone , my purse, my keys, my art pens, my mac, my socks, my scarf and my very precious moleskine sketch book with all my holiday drawings etc in it were gone. So when out in the open in a crowded place do try to be aware. I didnt, and how it has cost me. The staff at the zoo were incredible and luckily I had a lift home. But please profit by my nasty experience. :-(
