OK - we've had the worst arts-related purchase: How about the best? What was your best ever arts purchase?
I wouldn't know where to start - but I will anyway.... Hake brushes, in 4 sizes; Winsor and Newton Cadmium Yellow Watercolour, in a pan; Forsline and Starr colour shaper - I've only ever needed one; Jackson's own Flake White oil paint; Rosemary & Co's Shiraz riggers in a range of sizes; Chromacolour paints, and Cryla acrylic; Winsor and Newton's acrylic Sap Green; Rembrandt Cobalt Blue watercolour ....
Ah. I see the snag; once started, you can't stop. Still: have a bash!
Dalon 3/4" flat, for watercolour and acrylic - my range of Wolff's carbon pencils; ditto Mars Lumograph, especially the 8B; box full of steel nibs..... Oh sorry; thought I'd stopped ....
I just can't limit my best buy to one item (oh, you noticed?) -see if you can do better.
