.Never understood where the line passes between arts and crafts. The dictionary definitions offer no real help. In mine craft is defined, inter alia, as 'skill in practical arts'. Art is defined as the use of human creative skill. Thatchers use artistic skill in the patterns they create as do knitters and basket weavers etc. Where do we draw the line between arts and crafts? Is there one? Are they one and the same thing?
