<p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">Art?? Rubbish. Theinfo, not news that Michael Flatley is painting with his feet andselling at enormous fees is typical of the pure cash/celebrity trend, plus the recent article about an artist named Peter Goodfellow, nonot me either, has ridiculed Emin, Hirst etc and their agents/buyersfor their hijacking of rubbish. Will take a look at the goodfellow.

Derek, As regards Peter Goodfellow I have found this about an artist of that name

As far as I can tell he can paint. As to all the other celeb painters it often does not matter how good they are but who they are.

Thanks Pat I too found that page and like his work, maybe a little more than Erebus does, but it's all subjective. I have progressed from house-tree-sky-fence-stones-walls-grass oh and three flying V's landscapes although I did start with those subjects in watercolour many years ago and found it a useful start.
So much for formaldehyde!

Bela Lugosi is said to have drunk formaldehyde, when booze ceased to have any effect on him - amazingly, he lived to 74.
Never said you were ancient, Sylvia. Just of riper years. Take care now; wrap up warmly; have a nice Horlicks - nothing strenuous now......
With a tee, and indeed a hee......

So excited about my can of tuna - the prospects are immense and Sylvia, you're never ancient - my guess is you're only the same age as me give or take a bit and still got years of potential - here's an idea for starters: based on my tuna initiative why not think along the lines of bottled vine shoots (I tried them a week or so back in Greece and would have brought some back if I'd been a bit more savy - but that's age isn't it !!)

Good fellow has been voicing these opinions for a few years now, as for Flatley, again this not innovative and Warhols crowd were doing art using various body bits as implements, I would'nt comment on Flatleys work as I've not seen it, but it would'nt surprise me if it is on par with the dross the likes of traceym produces. Perhaps you could organise a comp. for art produced using the most interesting body-bits.

Just been completing our sketch book collaboration and my theme was Body Parts. I did wonder what would turn up. But all very innocent, Cows noses , Elephants bottoms Snake skins...feathers, all so pure .
Have just finished compiling a book for printing, for all us Themed Sketchers its looking good , A bit like working with boxes of frogs or a cartload of monkeys but it seems to have worked ( a plethora of arty women } Thank you Amanda for the original idea .
