Hi everyone, i've just arrived in UK on 18 month vacation from US. I found this site after a friend back home recommended it. I was just wondering if some of you could make some suggestions regarding the following: - the most popular art shows / exhibitions in uk. - the best websites for purchasing art materials. - best places for coastal landscapes (I've heard a place called St Ives is good) I would be grateful for any suggestions. thanks :-D

Thanks Ken! By the way, I love your Bedruthan Steps painting on your website. When I was small, railway carriages always seemed to have a picture of Bedruthan Steps, and I decided one day I must go there and paint the view. I haven't yet, but I will. I went there some years ago and took photos so there's no excuse.

Just received my prize -- a box of Caran d'Ache goodies comprising 8 tubes of gouache, 48 Neopastel oil pastels and 80 'Pablo' colour pencils. Nice!
