Plymouth City Council have removed several paintings from an Exhibition of their most famous Artist Robert Lenkiewicz. As this exhibition was an overview of his work it severely diminishes the impact.
Reason given they where sexually explicit, violent... They may upset school parties and cause offence elsewhere.
Surly school parties and others should be trying to understand why he painted these works... impossible if they are not on view.
