Yes I know all about blowing eggs and egg collectors still do it to this day but sucking ...?
I have used 'Great Art' for years, don't be put off by the cheapness of things - my 150cm canvas shows no deterioration after 10 years and several trips to exhibitions.
Syd - we get a few game poachers round here who cause our local estate a bit of grief so I'm sorry to hear you are plagued with them stealing your microwave eggs but good for locking them in the cupboard - regarding your drawer are you sure it doesn't open backwards - if not I've got a reverse angle screwdriver which I use for opening sardine tins when the wretched key device breaks (which it often does) - you could try that
I've ordered from the SAA - but via Amazon. If somethign goes missing, Amazon will deal with them - refund me and slap them hard. I've had no issues yet (I think they do deal with Amazon better than direct sales...)
SAA Gold Membership is handy for the Studio Public Liability Insurance aspect...
Oh you cynical old thing! Surely you don't think Amazon would ...... fib? I've had a view-finder; and one of those greyscale things .... probably used them twice, felt a bit of a twit, and never used them again. Theoretically I suppose I can see the use of them, but in practice I just don't..... mind you, being half-blind (I'm a High Myope, you know; oh yes..... I can tell you're impressed) I probably wouldn't get the full use of them.
Me too its X3.5 just to find the end of the brush...but these goblins are for the great outside world...a foreign place... Its bad enough trying to hold a brush on the canvas...the other hand stopping me from falling over/off the side of the chair...
Having only just joined this forum I felt I had to comment on the SAA. I have been a member of the SAA for about one year now and I have nothing but praise for them. Ordering materials is simple with no postage to pay and is delivered very quickly, I don't know how the prices compare with other sites but my subscription has paid for itself over and over. I only re-started painting last year so had to renew all my watercolours, brushes etc., and I have found SAA to be very helpful at all times. Hope you don't mind me adding my four pennyworth. I only discovered POL last week and it seems to be a very friendly place, I'm feeling quite at home already! Margaret Beynon - I don't know why but my name has not come up on this post only a number?
