Impressive! This is my painting apron which in reality looks worse than the photo.  I owned a cafe and catering business until 2001 and it came with me from that and has been used for painting ever since. It did used to get a wash now and then but not worth it with oils! I’m sure one day it will just fall apart, but at the moment it’s resisting.
Hope you iron it when you wash it.
But of course, as I’m sure you iron your blouse! 🤣

My word, a coat of varnish on those, Sylvia and Tessa, you only need to add a stand and you"ll have an instant sculpture. 😄
Now there’s a thought Denise! I expect your new garden studio is still pristine?
That made me laugh Tessa, there is ink and paint splashes on the walls already. Quite a nice design developing. In fact, it has the look of a distant galaxy.

I can imagine you painting the walls eventually Denise! Good to have a separate space especially out of the house.
Now - THAT'S a well-made garment, to have survived for over twenty years, and exposed to paint; my little pinny (too little) is about ten years old, and already the pocket's falling off.  Just goes to show, buy quality!
Catering quality Robert! It’ll probably outlast me.
I find an apron essential for working with oils as the paint can’t resist the temptation to make a bid for freedom, sneaking from palette to wrist to forearm to who knows where… I bought my apron in a charity shop, it’s PVC coated cotton, and a generous size which is useful when working sitting down, especially when the dipper detaches from the palette and deposits medium in my lap!
That’s a good one William! How about posting some of your work on the Gallery?
Can see where you wipe your hands .
