I caught up with an Imagine - TV programme - by Alan Yentob yesterday about this wonderful artist. I hadn't heard of her but what a superb portrait painter she was and such a bubbly character. The documentary was ruined by the producer, her inexperienced son. It rambled, had many unconnected sections, too close up interviews and the sequences actually showing her painting were superb but too short.
Anyone else catch it?
