Any one else see our own Adebanji last night on the one show. ???? I hadn't seen the show put picked up the info elsewhere . So I used play back and there he was painting a super portrait. Sadly not as comprehensive as it could have been. For those of you not in the know , quite a few of us on P O L have seen Adebanjis work over several years , he used to post on the Gallery , in fact I am quite sure that if you put his name in the Find artist box on the left of the gallery his work would appear. He does the most wonderful portraits and spends time on the tube and London buses sketching people. He has also been on Sky Arts Landscape artist of the year ( should have won , but then I am biased) He also very kindly sent me a small painting to sell for a charity for Syrian refugee children. He has also had articles in the Artist mag .
Aha, I thought I recognised him! Loved his painting on the Sky Arts programme, and thought he should have won too (although I did love the very different way that the lady who won painted her landscapes).
Tina have a look on the gallery for his postings the are amazing.
I don't watch the One Show (or any other show, now I think of it) but Adebanji posted a link to a segment of it on Facebook, and I was able to watch 5 minutes or so - he's a brilliant artist, and more than that - he has total, complete, overflowing enthusiasm: I wish he'd bottle it and sell it, or better still just send some my way, because my get up and go got up and went years ago.
Like wise here Syd
Another way is to go to Google or any search engine and just put his name in and there is lots of info.
Try just using his first name in the search bar, that's how I found it. Or you could just click HERE

I clicked there, that's truly smashing thanks.
You're very welcome :) (It's called posting a hyperlink, and involves the little chainlink button at the bottom of a post where it says 'insert'; you just find the page you want to link to and paste the web address there)
