Not sure if this is classed as abstract or modern! This is my granddaughter Lily's school art project. They are studying Hundertwasser (hope I've spelt it right), she loves this type of art, she's 12. This is her version after the style of Hundertwasser, that she's completed for the end of this term. Well Ellen, I think she has done a marvellous job with this painting. I don't 'get' most abstracts but she's definitely showing her artistic side, she must be following you!

I don't know what style this would be called Ellen, but she should definitely be encouraged if she wants to continue with her art.

Aw thanks. Don't know what you would style you would call it but who cares? Very much like Hundertwasser although his work was quite diverse although always colourful and rarely contentious in subject matter. As for this painting just love it and Lily has done you proud - in fact I would be proud of it if it were one of mine. Do pass on congratulations from us all at POL (I am sure I am speaking for us all).
