I've put this under general discussion as it's really a small story about a lovely friend of mine who died very suddenly three weeks ago.
Today was the funeral of Wendy a friend an artist and one of life's big characters.
I met her through sketching and painting , we enjoyed the local arty world, she was larger than life with a heart to match.
She experimented with inks and pastels and collage and did her very own thing.
Her funeral was a joyous occasion , we all wore colour and pattern , crazy shoes and crazy hair. Her coffin was white and hand painted with poppies and daisies. We sang great up beat music and people celebrated her life.
Her son had put up an exhibition of her work for us to enjoy.
A lot of us were artists and so many nice people ....maybe the wrong place for this, but I wanted to tell you all about " Our Wendy " .
