Greetings everyone! I am an engineering student from the University of Oxford. I paint on a regular basis and I have been thinking about a method to improve my painting experience, and hopefully everyone else's. It would be very helpful if I could gather some data from different painters and create a positive impact to the art community. I really appreciate your time. Many Thanks. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/M7LGJP2
Hello Churchillngai... I would prefer not to either take part in your survey or even be asked to do so , on what is an art discussion forum This is not a market reasearch site. Maybe if you read some of the threads here you might answer some of the questions you pose , perhaps if you joined in and discussed some of the threads it might help you. It would be interesting to know your art expertise and maybe see some of your paintings. If you do become involved and participate you will be made very welcome .
Well, I did the survey - what's to lose? It wasn't hard to answer, and I don't think anyone doing so will be giving much if anything away.
I answered it. I'm not sure how the results are going to help the painting experience however as none of the questions dealt with it.
I didn't fill it in...just scrolled through questions. As has been said, nothing to lose by filling it in. Survey=marketing=sales. He might even be a student, who knows? This is like a cold call via the forum. Cheek.
I shall keep a weather-eye on my emails.... But I'm fairly immune from marketing attempts, at least in terms of art materials: I know what I use, and am not to be tempted away.
I have posted a selfie on the gallery now . Thought id use the space !
And very good it is, Syd. You have successfully colonized the thread, too!
Her Indoors has an iPad which she uses to run her Ebay stuff. I hear her swearing at it a lot. I have an android tablet which I use for Youtube and other guitar related stuff when I'm teaching my private students. It's slow and quirky. If I want to get any proper work done, I have a Windows tablet but even that's useless s when I want to put music out there. Windows based tower system for me

You're suspicious. I'll flag it as Spam though; can't have anyone using an old thread to sell stuff
