I started this message a couple of hours ago but had to leave it because of other things to do, so I'm determined to finish it - however brief!
I live on the beautiful Isles of Scilly with my husband, a watercolourist and mixed media artist, and we have three self catering holiday apartments plus his Art Studio/shop. I don't paint but I enjoy photography and calligraphy.
Our first guests arrived today and one is here for a week's painting holiday while her husband, a keen photographer, will be out and about on his own. Unfortunately it's been foggy on the islands for the last couple of days so their arrival was delayed from yesterday when they should have been with us.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that the fog lifts and the weather improves *-)
We'll be taking part in the week-long Art Scilly festival starting on May 10th 2014 when island artists offer workshops, courses and tuition. This will be the fifth year for Art Scilly and it's always a great week.
Look forward to popping in again when I have time :-D
