I have searched everywhere but I cannot find any storage boxes with trays (or similar) for putting multiple standard 37/40ml oil tubes in rather than in a container where they all get jumbled together I've found systems but they all seem for other mediums.  The ones that should be OK are the Meeden 6 drawer range but having bought one, the tubes fit but not with caps on so rather defeats the purpose as the drawers are not high enough to accommodate the caps.   Has anyone come across something that works please?
Heather, I have the same problem. Some years ago I bought a little set of IKEA drawers ( still have them) with 4 narrow drawers and two deeper ones. The larger tubes, white etc, go in the larger. They also fit under a table. I don’t know whether they still sell similar ones. However, now I need more storage so I’ve bought a smallish 3 tray trolley with wheels - I can see all the paints and put the regularly used ones on the top tier. Homebase. My daughter has an even better trolley ( wish I’d seen it first) and I’m pretty sure it’s IKEA.
I'll have a look thanks Marjorie.  Ideally I want it to be portable (hand or wheels).  A lot of the metal cantilevered tool boxes appear on the surface to be OK but far from ideal.
What about a hairdresser trolley…..portable, all sizes and with slide out drawers etc? Fairly reasonably priced.
Good idea - great for where I paint but ideally looking for something I can lift and carry to art class or work outside.
Modular rolling toolbox? There are a few different ones. Most come in three sections. You can take off and leave behind bits you don't need. Pulls along like a trolley bag. Stanley make one there are lots of other makes. Or a fisherman's wheeled cantilever chest.
Thank you!
Heather, I was given this art/craft box a few years ago, which might be the sort of thing you’re looking for?  I think you can get them (or similar) from Jackson’s for about £30 or so.
Thanks Tessa, have one similar but not big enough (I have too many tubes!).   Have come across a few things but still searching for the ideal, there's a lady on Etsy in south Africa who makes a material hanging one which can be rolled up ... this could work but not 100% sure.  There's a market out there for sure!
Maybe you need to design one!  The hanging one sounds interesting but then you need to find something to hang it on if outdoors.
Yes ... perhaps my husband would oblige re just standing there holding it!
:) Nice one Heather.
