A little more digging:
Does that picture look familiar? If this biography is accurate he is a real person and an artist. I have found two very short videos on Youtube in which he holds a picture but is careful not to show his face:
That all looks fine doesn't it. However then I had a look on Linkedin where he has just one post, Fineart America and Singulart - the same images appear on all of them so they can't all be flogging the original pictures. The same images appear on mugs, coasters, T Shirts, you name it as well as being sold as prints.
Some of those pictures look awfully familiar. Oddly enough the written biography is pretty much identical to the one posted on POL, word for word.
This doesn't look to me like an artist posting his own work on POL for the pleasure of doing so, it's an industry. The Biography says that he sells only through Singulart but that clearly isn't the case.
I can find no reference to him at all beyond Linkedin and these online shops flogging his pictures (if they are his pictures). To me (just my personal opinion), it doesn't sit comfortably on POL.

Maybe not, but he hasn't broken any of the terms and conditions (saying that, I ought to re-read them). The difficulty is, I think, that he's veering very near to securing free advertising - rather than showing his most recent work, which is, basically, what we do. I doubt that he'll be around for long if his intentions are solely commercial: I've probably sold just three paintings directly from this site in all the years I've been with it - true, I haven't tried to market them from here, but if I had, I doubt I'd have been any more successful. As commercial opportunities go, POL suffers or benefits from the fact that it's largely frequented by artists, not by collectors: I like it like that.

No, there's not a consistent style - but go to the website and you'll see he does sub-divide his work into categories.
Whether that works well or not is not for me to say: but - I think we might give him a bit of slack, though; we don't need to be suspicious of every new member, do we? If M. Aléhy wants to contribute some thoughts to the forum, in French if English is not his preferred language, I could make a stab at translating it - I've forgotten (oh, so LONG forgotten!) so much of my A level French, but I'm quite happy to make an attempt at reviving it.

If M. Aldehy wants to post his new work himself rather than posting old pictures and pushing us towards a commercial organisation flogging prints I would be a lot more receptive.
Si M. Aldehy veut poster lui-même son nouveau travail plutôt que de poster de vieilles photos et de nous pousser vers une organisation commerciale fouettant les tirages, je serais beaucoup plus réceptif.

Well, I didn't want to get personal about it, but I did say I thought he wouldn't hang around for long. I can understand anybody wishing to push their work at an audience - my sales are very nearly non-existent at the moment, and have been since Covid: I hope others are doing better; but then, ever since I qualified for my pension, I haven't really made much of an effort to shift stuff: perhaps M. Aldéhy doesn't have one....
I did admire your French though! It reminded me of how much of mine I've forgotten.
