I realised rather late on that Warwickshire Arts Week has been on since 5 July, ending Sunday 20 July (a long week!). Unfortunately it isn't listed in the Events section; details are on www.warwickshireartsweek.co.uk . If you are in the area there are still a couple of days left
There are a large number of artists' studios open to visit, as well as gallery exhibitions in the main centres; altogether 67 locations. I have managed to visit a few and it has been really enjoyable talking to the artists in their studios.
I have been really impressed by the number of very talented and enthusiastic artists in the county, and quite envious of their spacious workspaces. Thanks to all who participated, everyone has obviously gone to a lot of effort to tidy up for visitors and give up their time; to those I haven't managed to get to, my apologies, and hope to see you in two years. Perhaps the organisers could publicise the event more prominently next time.
