There was a thread the other day about trying out something different and not getting stuck in the 'comfort zone'. Well I have been having a go at acrylics which led to my painting of the sardine recently posted in the gallery. Couldn't stop there and had a go at small bits of coastal sculpture made from driftwood (or odd bits of wood picked up from the roadside - no driftwood in the heart of the country! ). All this was inspired by some of the art I saw recently in Norfolk and rather complements my sardine
Anyway I had an open studio on Sunday which piggy backed on the back of an open gardens event (very successful - 286 visitors on the day! ) and I sold several of the pieces - I have just posted a picture of those that I have left if you care to take a look.
