I know it's only a small annual event but even so...
I was annoyed that they had rushed the printing of leaflets which hadn't even been proof-read and listed several artists' names wrongly (mine included), there were errors in the titles of paintings and many of the listed sale prices were wrong.
The paintings were displayed on moveable bi-fold screens, set out in a zig-zag
formation. These were about 7ft high and my painting was one of two placed at the very top, giving determined viewers cricked necks. I say "determined viewers" because this was the last screen, set diagonally in a shaded corner and people were unable to stand in front to view the paintings properly and so walked away.
I will be happy to go and collect my painting on the 17th.
