Happens to me too - also doesn't seem to remember my password for the gallery so i have to type it in on each visit - lifes hard.
I've always had to type my password for the gallery.  For sometime the forum has been good and remembered me; however, over the last few weeks or so, I have had to log in a couple or three times, or so.  I think the security nannies, sometimes get bees in their bonnets and think this is a banking site,  God, It's only a few comments about art.bestMick
It varies a bit - sometimes I get asked to log in to the forum again when I've cleaned up the excess files on my system, or have run a defrag.   I always have to log in to the gallery, but Google Chrome does helpfully pop up my log-in details.
Until recently I needed only to type in the first three letters of my email address before the full address appeared underneath for me to simply click on, followed by a collection of dots on the line below, purporting to be my password. However, now I am required to type in the whole email address plus delete the password dots as they are not my current password, and re-type the correct one. Less easy than before, but ...........
Tools>>Clear Browsing Data>>Empty Cache...etc may help Sort of meet the gizmo half way and give it a sporting chance...do it weekly! Ditto clear Cookies... Sort of keep your computer clutter-free...
Most times I can get straight on to the forum, but about once a month it makes the computer equivalent of pretending it doesn't know me (out of embarrassment I suppose), and I have to log in again. Also a pain to have to keep logging in to the gallery separately, which is why I don't look in there as often as I should..
Have just posted a trial pic , it is from where we go most Septembers on Cephalonia.  Will now do it in Acrylic.
