There are exhibitions and exhibitions, and the way the paintings are displayed is so important. If you want to see it done REALLY well, pop down to the Society of Floral Painters exhibition at the lovely Compton Acres, Poole, Dorset, UK, 19th March - 6th April 2009. I was most impressed by the way they've placed paintings of similar colour and style so that they reflect and complement one another.
