Excuse the outbreak of French above; it seemed appropriate.
OK, so I took my painting to London yesterday, was pleasantly surprised to encounter no queue (it was midday), and it is now residing in the Royal Academy until the judges decide it ain't their thing, and I have to go and collect it. (A pessmist is never disappointed.)
Obviuosly, I am doing this in order to get it into one of the Salon des Refuses exhibitions.
One of?
There are at least two.
http://www.salondesrefuses.com/ at The Llewellyn Alexander Gallery (who clearly have no idea where apostrophes are meant to go);
http://pictify.com/430158/salon-des-refuss-2013 at Happenstance (who were distributing the illustrated postcard outside the RA, but don't seem to have a 2013 Web site yet)
Je suis perdue.
Anybody come across either of these before? Are there any more?
(And who else is trying their hand at the Summer Exhibition? This is my first attempt. I was quite nervous.)
