After drawing the waterfall with watersoluble ink, I gave it a wash with clear water. Then I thaught that there was not enough difference between the water and the rocks. I gave it a second wash with watercolour. Do you think that the first wash (greyish) darkened the colours too much or is it ok? Just looked and commented Mia it's a lovely fresh pic. Sometimes I add a bit of white gouache or white Posca pen to emphasise my highlights in a sketch.

Posca Pens are waterproof markers - they come in a range of colours including white.
